QR Code Link to This Post Ace of Hearts is a Non-Profit Dog Rescue based in Los Angeles that saves dogs from the shelters, giving them a new chance at life! Please consider opening your home and fostering. These dogs are in dire need of your help: --Penny: She is a sharpei, shepard mix and is the best dog in the home. very quiet, goofy and sweet as pie. Loves to lounge, snuggle and tick her tongue out. She needs to be the only dog in the home and a human with experience to take her on walks --Axel is a loving, derpy dog who needs a home with lots of love and care. He is a great pup to have in the home once he is comfortable around his people and found his groove. He is a shepard mix who is great with other dogs and would just appreciate having space to run in the home. --Ron and Harry are our dynamic duo, as seen in the books/movies. Currently, they are 6 months old golden lab mixes, love each other, their toys and healthy food. They were saved from a high kill shelter before they were euthanized. We need loving Fosters to provide temporary homes for rescued dogs while we seek "Furever" homes. Since we rescue from shelters, some dogs may be traumatized so we need people who will make them feel secure, comfortable and confident. It's incredibly gratifying when these shy & fearful dogs gain your trust. And it's just as gratifying to receive unconditional love from confident dogs. You provide loving care & updates on their personalities, we provide everything else (a bed, food, treats, toys, supplies & vet care). WE NEED FOSTERS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH DOGS AND ARE COMFORTABLE WITH LARGE DOGS Stipends for fostering available if you're unable to do it as a volunteer. We pay $70/week for dog friendly dogs and $93.50/week for dogs that prefer to be the one and only. Being accepted into our foster program is an extremely rewarding experience - you get to help rehabilitate dogs that were left to die at the shelter, giving them a second chance to be adopted, our fosters are true heroes! What we need from you: -To be 21+ (if under 21, then to have parent approval) -To foster until the dog is adopted - or at least 2-4 weeks if you can't make that commitment. -To have reliable transportation and be able to bring them to our adoption event in West Hollywood once a month and to a vet of our choice. -To be comfortable with large breeds! We're a bully breed rescue and most of our pups weigh 50-90 pounds.
