Successful businessman Eduard comes to the attention of the tax police, who, having arranged a provocation for him, send Eduard to prison for the duration of the investigation right from the wedding celebration. Not finding any evidence, the tax police release Eduard, where he is intercepted by a gang of racketeers. With the help of friends, Eduard slips out of the gangster circle, but the leader of the gang, a certain Ahmet, trying to take revenge on Eduard, organizes the kidnapping of Eduard's young wife, Marina. In a bloody skirmish with the bandits, Eduard dies. His pregnant young wife bitterly mourns her husband. Several years after these events, the young widow Marina meets
her late husband's ex-wife, Alena. Together, the women try to take revenge on the killers of her late husband. But revenge "in a woman's way" brings only disappointment and death.
