It is de-restricted, on it’s 2nd Giannelli exhaust and has optimized roller weights for improved early acceleration. Early last year it started leaking a few drops of oil and would still run fine, but then it suddenly only kept power for a few minutes after starting and then sputtered out and continues to do this. I’m newly married, looking at having kids and sadly we decided it is time to let him go instead of lugging it to a shop. This would be best for someone who has some shop experience and would want to play around to fix it or has a trailer to bring it to a shop. There are many parts listed on ebay and aprilia forums for this model that are relatively inexpensive because it’s still a common bike in Europe/Italy. It has a computer diagnostic system, yet would need a gameboy to run it or accessed at a dealer. It’s otherwise in great condition aside from the above, and has been kept in enclosed garages its whole life and only has <5000 miles. Features I like are it can go up to 50+ mph, accelerates very quickly from stop, has gotten ~80+ miles per gallon on average (requires premium gas)! easy to park, has room for a friend on the back seat, fits a full face helmet below the seat, can carry groceries on the hook by the foot area. It will be sad to let him go, yet he definitely needs a new home to be ridden again.
