They can either be used together as a pair, or separately as  a decoration, or they can be utilized as actual vases with things placed inside of them. The picture shows both the smaller vase and the larger vase. The smaller vase is 8.5'' wide, 10'' tall, and 2.25'' deep and is selling for $75. The larger vase is 11'' wide, 12.5'' tall, and 2.5'' deep and is selling for $100. More info about fossil stone: Fossil stone is created by diving to the deepest ocean floors off the islands in the Philippines and painstakingly bringing up huge chucks of the stone that has been growing there for centuries. This hard stone substance is formed by natural minerals hardening over time and capturing any imprints of shells that were calcified within the stone.  The stone is then cut and polished, kind of like the process done to diamonds. This kind of stone is extremely rare, high end, and very costly to purchase. Decorative items made from this kind of stone are used in many designer homes and hotels. In fact, most of the Four Seasons hotels in California have a collection of these stones and pieces in them to add a touch of elegance and because the owner, David Murdock, considers them to be one of the most beautiful and priceless stones in the world.
